Piedmont – Columbus, GA – Salary $62,000.00-$70,000.00
OverviewCoordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well as operational issues during the shift. Provides clinical care as needed when census demands. Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s). Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.

Qualifications- Education: Graduate of a nursing program (Required). Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred).
- Work Experience: 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting (Required). Two or more years in a hospital setting (Preferred).
- Licenses and
Certifications:
Current License in Georgia as RN or NLC/eNLC (Required). BLS certification (Required). Advanced certification in field of specialty (Required). ACLS certification (Required). PALS certification (Required). Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification (Required). NRP by the end of orientation period (Required). AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program within 12 months (Required). PEARS Certification at Piedmont Athens Hospital (Required). PALS if unit provides care to pediatric patients (Required).
ACLS and PALS if unit provides care to pediatric patients (Required). Experienced ED nurses will have 30 days to obtain PALS certification (Required).
