Position: RN Residency Spring 2026 - Piedmont Columbus (Midtown & Northside)

RN Residency Spring 2026 - Piedmont Columbus (Midtown & Northside)

Program will begin February 2026. Our 12‑month transition‑to‑practice program facilitates progress from student to professional nurse through education, mentorship, and peer support.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in precepted orientation led by dedicated preceptors.
  • Engage in blended learning experiences tailored to new graduates.
  • Develop clinical judgment to rapidly recognize changes in patient condition.
  • Cultivate excellent communication skills with colleagues and patients.
  • Engage in cohort experiences designed to promote peer and professional socialization.
  • Learn didactic content from professional nursing organizations.
Program Overview

Opportunities available in Acute Care, Critical Care, Emergency Department, Women’s Services, Cardiovascular/Progressive Care, Surgical Services, Transplant, and more.

Responsibilities for Staff Nurse
  • Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes.
  • Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff.
  • Demonstrate professional growth and accountability within policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of a nursing program.
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
  • BLS certification required.
  • New graduates are eligible.
  • Minimum experience:

    none beyond graduation.
  • Additional qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced specialty certification if applicable.
