Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Med Surg position at Piedmont, based in Columbus, GA. Full‑time, entry level. Salary range $62,000–$70,000 per year.
Responsibilities- The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Functions within the framework of the organization’s policies and procedures and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
- Maintains standards of practice and coordinates patient care activities of assigned staff to deliver quality nursing care.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- New graduates eligible; minimum experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Current license in Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- BLS certification required.
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree, advanced certification in specialty (as applicable).
- Senior Level: Entry level
