Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team!

Pay
: $14.00 to $17.00 per hour

We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.47 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides. A Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The associate thrives on engaging with customers and assists with inquiries and problem resolution.

Associates will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more.

The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Pay varies by location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform non-management open/close procedures.
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Perform sales and loan transactions according to policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items according to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Explain the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers, and provide a positive customer experience.
• Collaborate with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Complete required training successfully.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting (in compliance with laws).
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be able to work in multiple locations as needed.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on personal gross profit. Details are provided during the interview process.
