• Patrol the compound, monitor surveillance systems, control access, identify suspicious behavior, enforce security policies.
• Provide security for the department.
• Control access to facilities.
• Monitor alarm system, patrol facilities.
• Interpret and apply ammunition pertinent details.
• Verify identification of visitors and employees, monitor entry points, deny access to unauthorized individuals.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Desktop computers, multi‑line telephone, two‑way radio, multi‑functional devices, material handling equipment (MHE), banding equipment and related items.
• PPE such as protective mask, safety vest, steel or composite shoes/boots, safety gloves, hard hat and eyewear in certain areas.

• Medium work: exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds of force frequently, up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
• Walking and standing for extended periods.
• Maintaining focus during long periods of monitoring and patrolling.
• Close visual acuity required for detailed tasks such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing computer terminals, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects/parts or operating machines, measuring devices, assembly or fabrication.

• Work typically in a temperature‑controlled office environment with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
• May be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions.
• Exposure to hazards: proximity to moving mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, scaffolding or high places, high heat, chemicals.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass criminal background check.
• Pass standard background check.
• Obtain and maintain a tier one level clearance (NAC‑I).
• Pass pre‑employment drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license without restrictions.

• Four (4) years knowledge of the Department of Army physical security regulations.
• High ethical standards and professionalism.
• Prioritize, multi‑task in fast‑paced environment, interact at all levels.
• Work independently or in a team‑based, highly collaborative environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; interact at all levels.
• Excellent observation skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Notice details and identify potential security risks.
