, a professional electrical contractor with nearly 20 years of experience installing and servicing all types of electrical systems required for commercial and Industrial facilities as well as new construction. D&L Electric's team of seasoned professionals are committed to offering the most reliable services and systems to meet client needs from commercial lighting and new construction, to power distribution systems, tenant build outs, general electrical installations and more.
The D&L Electric team is seeking a best-in-class Industrial Electrician willing to roll up their sleeves and exude a passion for the field!
Responsibilities- Bend and install rigid conduit
- Set up and pull wire and cable
- Install electrical gear, equipment, and devices
- Install and troubleshoot AC and DC Drives
- Read/comprehend tape measure, blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, work orders, instructions, formulas, and processing charts
- Must have knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety standards
- Proven experience in electrical field
- Knowledgeable of single and three phase motors and motor control systems
- Stand, walk, sit, kneel, and walk up and down stairs on regular basis; climb up and down ladders up to 35 feet high repeatedly on a shift
- Work from various heights via platforms, scaffolds, ladders, or man-lifts
- Bend and stretch, lift, and move heavy objects many times across a shift
- Operate, maintain, and work near various power equipment, including, but not limited to, forklifts, man-lifts, excavators, drills, saws, hydraulic tools, and automatic machinery
- Must be safety conscious
- Must be able to lift to 60 pounds independently; lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels
- Must be able to carry and transport up to 60 pounds up to 20 feet
- Requires standing for extended period with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors
- On the job training with fully accredited training programs
