Perform mapping of aerial, underground, and apartment sites in accordance with safety regulations, Mediacom policies, and industry codes.

• Perform strand mapping for new build areas
• Conduct apartment complex and MDU walk‑throughs
• Apply CATV construction practices and direct contractors or in‑house teams
• Read system prints and understand CATV operation
• Engineer road project field work and force relocates
• Participate in meetings with developers and state projects
• Produce reportsアップ required on plant operations
• Work safely in various weather conditions鲞
• Provide input to supervisors on projects
• Perform quality‑control inspections and construction to assure quality
• Recommend additional training as needed
• Use Microsoft Office programs
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously($('#*)
• Perform all other assigned duties
• Occasional overnight travel may be required
• Install and change services while adhering to applicable codes, guidelines, company procedures, and safe work practices to provide an outstanding customer experience

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
• Minimum of 2 years as a Broadband Specialist IV system technician or 4+ years comparable cable technician experience
• SCTE – Understanding Cable Technology
• SCTE – Coax Splicer Specialist
• Knowledge of HFC plant, installs, and service.Профайl
• Ability to interact and communicate with customers and co‑workers
• Work in all weather conditions
• Work flexible hours, incl. evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime as required
• Knowledge of construction tools and equipment (bucket trucks, lasher, blocks, pulling grips, stand/cable trailers, cable layers, hoists, bolt cutters, lay‑up sticks, hand lines)
