Node.js Developer

Somewhere between the whiteboard sketch and the green deploy badge is the Node.js Developer role we're opening in Columbus, GA. This wildly-collaborative mid-level role offers $68,000 - $94,000, the freedom to own your roadmap, and a team that helps you grow.

• Automate the manual Express.js chores that quietly drain Columbus, GA engineering hours
• Build the generously-mentoring Redis feature that wins back the GA accounts Commerce Solutions Group lost
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong code-review culture
• Decide when to buy Redis versus build it for Commerce Solutions Group's Columbus, GA stack
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents across Flask-based applications
• Enhance test automation frameworks to increase release confidence
• Pair with cross-functional partners to scope and deliver internship projects

• The humility to revise strong opinions when the data argues back
• The kind of curiosity that reads the docs before asking
• A Commerce Solutions Group mindset: scrappy today, scalable tomorrow
• Strong working knowledge of Git Hub Actions and Linux
• Hands-on Agile experience that survives a whiteboard interview
• The kind of empathy that makes hard feedback land softly
• A Columbus network, or the hustle to build one from scratch

The people-centered minds at Commerce Solutions Group have made Columbus, GA an unlikely hub for serious Express.js and Redis work. We swap Flexibility and Flask tips over lunch because nobody here pretends to know it all.

We start the conversation at $68,000 - $94,000 and end it with mentorship, benefits, and the flexibility to grow without relocating from GA.

The internship seat is open right now, refreshed and ready for resumes.
