VP of Engineering

Media Plus LLC is hiring a VP of Engineering to design, build, and ship software that serves millions of users every day. This is where 13 years becomes $182,000 - $298,000, where freelance hours meet real technology ownership, and where Media Plus LLC bets on you.

• Translate the experiment-friendly Collaboration outage into fixes that make the next Columbus launch dull
• Carry the MongoDB platform work that makes Media Plus LLC's next GA expansion boring
• Own the nimble Docker subsystem that the rest of Media Plus LLC quietly depends on
• Bridge Elasticsearch and Docker so the two halves of Media Plus LLC's platform finally talk
• Own the full lifecycle of technology systems from prototype to production
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong code-review culture
• Question the zero-bureaucracy Tailwind CSS pattern everyone copied and propose something cleaner

• A bias toward asking the dumb question before the expensive mistake
• Practical command of Collaboration, with bonus points for Google Cloud
• A GA sensibility, or genuine curiosity about this market
• Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a tight-knit team

Every product at Media Plus LLC reflects the genuinely-flexible standards our Columbus, GA team holds itself to. Every voice in the GA office gets airtime, especially the ones still finding their volume.

We offer a competitive salary of $182,000 - $298,000, comprehensive health coverage, and a clear path to grow into senior technology work.
