Senior Site Quality Engineer

Pay Range: $45.48hr - $50.48hr Job Overview:
The Senior Site Quality Engineer leads continuous improvement projects to ensure defect-free manufacturing processes. This role focuses on achieving high-quality standards, meeting customer requirements, and driving business results through technical expertise and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Management:
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, APQP, and PPAP requirements. Dimensional Engineering:
Perform GD&T analysis and use Poly Works for 3D measurement and part validation. Problem Solving:
Lead root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa) to resolve internal and external quality issues. Technical Support:
Serve as a resource for metrology, SPC, and MSA (Gage R&R) studies. Continuous Improvement:
Utilize Lean and Six Sigma tools to reduce scrap, rework, and process variation.

Collaboration:

Work with manufacturing, tooling, and customers to manage change and resolve nonconformities. Mentorship:
Coach less experienced team members in quality practices and core tools.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related technical field).

Experience:

2 5 years in manufacturing, preferably in the automotive industry. Technical

Skills:

Proficiency in GD&T, AIAG Core Tools, and metrology software. Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical data clearly to stakeholders and customers. Preferred

Skills:

Experience with CMM programming or 3D scanning. Knowledge of 6S, welding processes, or Design of Experiments (DOE). Proficiency in Minitab or advanced Excel for statistical analysis. Benefits:
