Job Summary:
The Lead ETL Architect/Lead is responsible for the design, development, testing, and implementation of current and future data warehouse, business intelligence solutions, and data migration projects. This position leads the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) development activities and ensures the quality of ETL code. The Lead ETL Data Integration developer guides and mentors other developers and collaborates with team members. They work with data architects and BI architects to design and develop robust and scalable data solutions, manage daily workflow, and lead assigned staff.
The Lead will mentor, coach, act as a resource, and provide feedback on performance, while identifying opportunities to improve and optimize the data environment for maximum value.
Experience
Required:
At least 6-8 years of experience designing, developing, and testing ETL interfaces aligned with defined requirements, preferably in healthcare, analytical, or technological industries.At least 3 years of architect/lead experience.Experience in software development and design with a strong emphasis on data warehousing concepts, database design patterns, ETL methodologies, processing and transforming massive quantities of data, data cleansing, data quality, and performance tuning of ETL and database processes.Experience with the Erwin data modeling toolset.Extensive experience strategizing roadmap projects, data modeling, designing ETL frameworks, and managing the data mart lifecycle development while providing technical supervision on the implementation of large end-to-end Data Warehouse applications.Experience in UNIX Shell/Python scripting for automation of batch and ETL jobs.Experience with one of the health care systems – QNXT/CCA/EDIFECS is preferred.Skills Required:
Strong technical skills to lead the team to the EDM technology roadmap, including cloud-based Informatica tool, IICS, Amazon AWS, and Snowflake cloud technology.Demonstrated ability to execute IT strategies to meet and exceed objectives.Strong knowledge and ability to identify strategic business objectives.Ability to present ETL documentation and designs to team members and convey complex information clearly and concisely.Effectiveness in developing successful business relationships with IT internal and business personnel.Ability to engage key decision-makers when required.Ability to articulate and sell complex solutions to IT and business leaders.Proven consultative and strategic skills.Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to provide high-level technical expertise.#J-18808-Ljbffr
