- Responsible for establishing purchasing procedures required to fulfill the procurement, inventory, and distribution of required components.
- Serve as the point of contact between suppliers and product teams and client
- Point person for the solicitation and preparation of Request for Quotations (RFQs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Request for Information's (RFIs).
- Coordinate with purchase teams to place orders.
- Price analysis of actions; cost analysis and negotiation of proposals; fact-finding in RFI's.
- Manage quality, design, and payment to vendors.
- Administer contracts, control costs, and ensure on-time delivery in accordance with program requirements.
- Buying includes analysis of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) needs.
- Identifying multiple supply bases within the US for long lead items
