Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our maintenance team. This role is essential to ensuring our facilities and equipment remain safe, functional, and efficient. You will lead a team of technicians, manage maintenance schedules, and coordinate repair and preventative maintenance activities.

The Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor oversees the operation, maintenance, and repair of buildings, grounds, and equipment. This position is responsible for leading a team of maintenance staff and contractors to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with regulations.

• Supervise and direct a support staff of skilled trades team members to ensure the reliability and uptime of equipment and processes are maximized
• Ensure production equipment functions optimally to help ensure product quality meets Dorel Juvenile standards.
• Supervise and direct the procurement, construction initiatives, and maintenance of over 1.1 million square feet of manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, and office space
• Support and direct capital projects totaling $2 to $3 million dollars annually. This includes design and planning from concept, assembling cost estimates and justification, negotiation and procurement of project, managing contractors and materials for projects.
• Maintain budget and on time delivery of projects.
• Manage the installation and maintenance of material handling equipment such as fork trucks, spot tractors, etc.
• Supervise and track the spending of expense budgets related to the operation of the facility.

Education, Licenses, and/or Certification Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• Associate’s degree in industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or a relevant field, preferred.
• Relevant experience in maintenance trades and supervision is essential.
• Professional certifications are a plus.
