Lead Maintenance Technician; 2nd shift

Join our Toyota Material Handling Team as a Third Shift Lead Maintenance Technician.

• Reporting team activity and progress through visual management (weak point management, pareto charts, TPS tools, graphs).
• Managing general practices for the third maintenance team, including lock out/tag out, 5S, and hazard management.
• Coordinating daily activities and generating/assigning PMs to associates.
• Handling trouble calls for machine downtime to ensure quality repairs.
• Completing work orders within targets, ensuring no work order is older than 25 days.
• Coordinating parts and supplies for daily activities.
• Retesting equipment with associates and leadership to verify quality and performance.
• Cross-shift repair coordination to prevent production interruptions.
• Assisting in the development of associates’ skills and behaviors.
• Managing projects to achieve improvement goals.
• Promoting kaizen activities for continuous improvement.
• Fostering teamwork through excellent communication and respect.
• Monitoring downtime countermeasures, work orders, and project schedules.
• Escalating critical equipment issues promptly.
• Working unscheduled overtime as needed to meet production goals.
• Maintaining alertness and safety at all times.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 years of maintenance experience preferred.

This is an in-person role at our Columbus, Indiana office, ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.

Hourly wage: $33 - $46 per hour + OT. Compensation depends on education and experience.
