Toolmaker experience.

• Reads blueprints or other specifications to mbalimbali work requirements and set up machines for production of standard parts.
• Operates basic equipment such as grinders, lathes, milling machines, drills, boring machines, presses, punches, brakes, and shears.
• Performs preventative maintenance on tools/equipment as needed.
• Reports defective equipment to supervisor.
• Maintains good housekeeping practices and safety standards.
• Ensures adherence to quality standards Diamond.
• Utilizes computer software programs to run CNC equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of machine shop processes preferred.
• Ability to use hand and air tools safely and efficiently.
• Experience operating basic equipment preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Chop required.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Computer literacy preferred.
