- Create, revise, review and maintain SOPs, work instructions, forms and other controlled documents
- Manage the document change control process, including routing documents for review and approval
- Distribute current document versions and remove obsolete versions from use
- Maintain and organize electronic and paper records so they are easy to find and audit ready
- Support internal and external audits by retrieving documents and records
- Make sure documents follow company standards, GMP and food safety requirements
- Work with quality, production and other departments to keep documents accurate and up to date
- Track document review dates and help make sure periodic reviews are completed on time
- Support batch record and production record review and filing as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1 or more years of experience in document control, quality assurance or records management, ideally in a manufacturing, food or GMP environment
- Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF or similar food safety standards is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with electronic document management or quality systems is a plus
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
