Retail Markdown Associate

Overview

Retail Markdown Associate (7am - 1pm) at The TJX Companies, Inc. TJ Maxx. This role delivers a highly satisfied customer experience, engages with customers, and maintains a clean and organized store environment. May be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers
• Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customers according to operating procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established procedures and standards
• Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed
• Maintains cleanliness and organizational standards for the sales floor and store as a whole
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Supports shrink reduction goals and safety initiatives
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Retail customer experience is preferred

Starting pay range: $12.00 to $12.50 per hour.
