• Check out customers promptly, courteously, efficiently, and accurately.
• Operate the till: count till in and out, maintain required balance.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized work area.
• Display current promotional ads and other information posted by the head cashier or manager.
• Provide verbal and physical assistance to customers.
• Monitor the store for shoplifting and notify management.
• Order product to fill shelves when assigned.
• Stock shelves and racks when assigned.
• Perform sweeping and cleaning functions.
• Operate telephones and intercom systems, practicing proper telephone etiquette.
• Follow all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Cashier Training Manual and Employee Handbook.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Read and write.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Lift and stack up to 50 pounds.
• Pull or push wheeled vehicles weighing up to 500 pounds.
• Reach and stock product up to 6 ft. high.

• Weekend availability.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.

Reports to the Office Manager. Assists and cooperates with other cashiers where needed to benefit the front‑end operation.
