We're looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the integrity of our financial data through accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and support of monthly close processes. This is a unique opportunity to assist in laying the foundation of accounting processes for a startup facility.

• Prepare and post journal entries for month-end and year-end close
• Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts
• Manage the accounts receivable processes
• Support fixed asset tracking and depreciation entries
• File monthly sales and use tax
• Assist with audit requests and documentation
• Support compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Dive continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls
• Participate in and support physical inventory counts
• Special projects and additional duties as assigned

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Knowledge of GAAP principles
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively across departments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
