Job DescriptionPerforms schedule and non-scheduled maintenance on UH-72A Lakota helicopters and other airframes as required. Conducts operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems. Diagnoses malfunctions or failures and makes adjustments, repairs or replacements of parts and/or components.
Aircraft Inspections (70%)- Performs detailed inspections, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components.
- Conducts operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems.
- Assures that completed work complies with FAA/Airbus regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications.
- Follows all OSHA, safety and environmental regulations.
- Completes forms and records pertaining to completion of assigned work.
- Performs troubleshooting to diagnose malfunctions or failures on the following aircraft systems: aircraft equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant and engine controls.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Required:
High School diploma or equivalent. - Preferred:
Trade school.
- Required:
Minimum of four (4) years related experience. - Preferred: EC145, H145 or UH-72 Experience.
- FAA A&P License.
- EC145 Field Maintenance Course.
- Safran Level 1 or Level 2 Completion.
- 5% Domestic and International.
- Basic computer skills.
- Read, interpret, and follow written technical data.
- Familiarity with common aviation type tooling.
