Box Office Cashier

They create a welcome environment for patrons. Sells tickets to movies and special events, provides movie and event information, and enforces theatre admission policies. Responsible for security of cash and tickets. Maintains and cleans Box Office area.

• Cheerfully greets patrons.
• Provides movie, special event, and general theatre information.
• Accurately sells tickets, accepts payments, and makes change.
• Properly operates Point of Sale terminals and ticket printers.
• Properly operates and effectively communicates on a two-way radio.
• Follows MPA film rating guidelines when selling admission tickets.
• Follows theatre policies for selling admission tickets.
• Answers the telephone courteously and professionally.
• Keeps box office area clean and stocked with supplies.
• Watches for safety issues (trip hazards, suspicious persons, etc.) and reports to management.

They serve prepackaged food and drink and maintain the concession area in a sanitary condition.

• Provides services to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Serves food in proper pre-determined portion sizes.
• Maintains adequate food/supplies.
• Cleans concession, including serving area continually.
• Uses popper to prepare popcorn as needed and attends concession equipment.
• Cleans concession area before and after business hours.
• Maintains the appearance of all equipment and serving counters.
• Assures menu items are prepared in sufficient quantities to satisfy volumes.
• Receives deliveries when assigned.
• Performs other related duties as required.

They collect admission tickets, direct patrons to the correct auditoriums, and help maintain clean facilities such as lobbies, hallways, auditoriums and restrooms. Greet patrons, assist with general questions, or refer the patron to a member of management for assistance.

• Provides services to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Manages crowd control and assists patrons in finding seating when.
• Cleans and inspects auditoriums.
• Assists with patrons' special needs, such as helping those with wheelchairs.
• Maintains order and ensures adherence to safety rules.
• Assists patrons with questions or complaints.
• Inspects backpacks and packages when applicable.
• Performs other related duties as required.
