Duties
* Serve as the Assistant Installation Deployment Officer. Assists the IDO with developing and executing wing commander approved policies and procedures supporting the wing's deployment processes.
* Serve as the installation Support Agreement Manager (SAM). Responsible for managing, coordinating, and maintaining the 14 FTW support agreements program.
* Serve as 14 FTW AFFORGEN readiness/readiness reporting program manager.
* Serve as the 14 FTW Base Support Plan (BSP) and Base Support Installation (BSI) program manager. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Disclosure of Political Appointments
* During contingencies/exercises, work is performed in the Installation Deployment Readiness Center (IDRC), Deployment/Reception Control Center (DRCC).
* This position requires the employee to occasionally travel on military and/or commercial aircraft away from the normal duty station.
* Due to the short time constraints of a challenge inspection and some immediate actions that need to take place; the individual is in an on-call status and required to carry a cell phone.
* In support of emergency or contingency/exercise operations the employee may be subject to recall. Additionally, the employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
* Employee must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
* Key "This position is designated as a key position IAW AFI 36-507. Duties of this position are essential to the accomplishment of wartime/contingency operations
* Incumbents of KEY positions must be removed from their military recall status if alternatives for filling of the position during an emergency are not available."
* Must complete the in-residence installation deployment officer (IDO) course.
* This position is emergency-essential. In the event of a crisis situation, the incumbent, or designated alternate, must continue to perform the Emergency-Essential duties until relieved by proper authority. The incumbent or-CONT
* -CONT-the designated alternate may be required to take part in readiness exercises. This position cannot be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization without seriously impairing the capability of the organization to function effectively.
* This meets the criteria of an Emergency-Essential position and requires that the incumbent, or the designated alternate, be removed from any military recall status. Employee must sign DD Form 2365 as a condition of employment.
* This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use. This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program.
* Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
* Incumbent of this position is subject to the possibility of a random drug test
* This is a Mission-Essential position performing a Mission-Critical-Function which must continue uninterrupted after the occurrence of an emergency and continued through full resumption of all functions Qualifications In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Administrative and Management Positions SPECIALIZED
EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-07, or equivalent in other pay systems.
