Duties DUTIES:
* Conducts extensive searches for information pertaining to complex and/or unusual supply transactions and patterns.
* Provides supply support for production, overhaul, repair, or other operations for equipment and/or parts requiring special handling.
* Determines stock levels needed for non-recurring, specialized items based on usage, inventory, project demands, seasonal demands, changing customer needs, and projected depletion.
* Prepares recurring and special reports.
* Performs administrative office support functions and maintains cooperative working relationships with team members, related functions, and operating officials. Requirements Conditions of employment

* May be required to travel TDY as directed by management, sometimes on short notice and including overnight stays
* May be required to participate in contingency situations, real world, and exercise, as directed.
* IAW DoDI 3020-42 this position has been locally or command designated as Mission Essential (ME); needed to ensure the continued operation of mission essential functions of the activity.
* Mission Essential personnel may be required to report for duty at normal times when the base is closed or delayed reporting, and remain on duty during phased or early release.
* Must have, or obtain, and maintain a secret clearance.
* May be required to clean up outside building and adjoining grounds as directed.
* Must be able to conduct duties in a professional matter at all times.
* May be required to perform a variety of material handling tasks specific to mission essential training and deployment operations.
* May be required to be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office functions (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office)
* Position includes training in the carrying and use of firearms due to incumbent being required to carry firearms in the performance of supply duties entailing providing (CONT'D)
* high degree of protection in the inventory and issuance of War Readiness weapons.
* This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a (CONT'D)
* qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.
* May be directed to perform additional duties as assigned to accomplish LRS mission and objectives. Qualifications CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONTINUED:
* This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use
QUALIFICATIONS:
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions. SPECIALIZED
EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-06, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes thorough knowledge of governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions and an intensive knowledge of local supply requirements to ensure supply support for production, overhaul, repair, or other operations for urgent, critical shortage, and other special items.
FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS:
Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-06 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-07 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
