The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the Maintenance Support and Flight Service Center sections.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Maintenance Support and Flight Service Center sections, ensuring that maintenance and supply work complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
Represents the Maintenance Support and Flight Service Center sections with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Manages the overall maintenance and supply interface, resolves supply support problems, reviews reports and coordinates supply related training needs for decentralized supply support personnel.
