Experienced Paint Shop Tech

Responsibilities

• Sand, sandblast, and resurface blemishes.
• Prepare, paint, and assemble products.
• Apply primer and exterior paint to a variety of UAV’s and other products.
• Prepare adhesive, paint, resin and other products for use.
• Read and interpret blue prints, process standards and parts list.
• Ensure all paint equipment is operational and functional while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

• Able to read, interpret, and accurately implement engineering instructions and drawings.
• Able to work with basic hand tools: screw drivers, ratchets, torque wrenches, precision measuring equipment, and paint shop equipment.
• Must be a U. S. person as defined by 22 U.S.C §6010.

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Able to bend, stretch, work with hands, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
• Must be able to visually inspect components and products.
• Must be able to wear required safety equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, respirator, and other PPE as needed.
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Related community college or military experience preferred.
• Demonstrated work experience within a similar role.
