COOK (PART TIME) – Compass One Healthcare

Schedule:

Part‑time (5:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Sunday). Hours as needed. Will discuss in interview.

Pay: $12.50 – $15.00 per hour.

The Cook is responsible for preparing food in accordance with applicable standards, guidelines and regulations. Ensures quality food service is provided at all times.

• Prepares high‑quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature and presentation.
• Maintains clean, safe kitchen environment; cleans kitchen after preparation and service.
• Stores or discards excess food per safe food‑handling procedures.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
• Orders and receives food and supplies as needed.
• Reports maintenance issues or accidents to supervisor immediately.
• Attends in‑service and safety meetings.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Previous culinary experience preferred; fast‑food experience not applicable.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
