Shift supervisor, Restaurant​/Food Service

Overview

We are hiring immediately for full-time SHIFT SUPERVISOR positions at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle – 2520 5th Street North, Columbus, MS 39701. Online applications accepted only.

Full time schedule. Sunday – Saturday, 6:00 am – 7:00 pm as needed. Open availability required. More details upon interview.

Fixed Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

Regulatory familiarity is a plus. Requires the ability to perform essential functions of a shift supervisor with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and ensure assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
