Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a detail-driven, precision-obsessed drafter/designer to bring complex ideas to life. In this role, you’ll transform engineering concepts, shop-floor needs, and improvement ideas into clear, accurate drawings that support safe and efficient manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Design & Drafting:
Create detailed drawings for washing equipment and parts, including ERP item creation and bills of material. - Innovation:
Collaborate with the team to generate ideas for new product designs and improvements to existing ones. - Update and Maintain Drawings:
Work closely with production teams to ensure drawings are clear, precise, and meet production needs. - Timeliness:
Ensure drawings and bills of material are completed on schedule and align with Superior's drafting standards. - Quality:
Ensure drawings have appropriate quality controls, including GD&T requirements as needed.
- Ability to understand and apply Superior's engineering standards.
- Quickly learn Inventor, Vault, and JD Edwards ERP software.
- Knowledge of general drafting standards and geometric tolerancing.
- Work closely with other team members in a mutually beneficial manner.
