Psychiatrist

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to join our client's team in Nebraska for a 127-day assignment. This role involves working Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with time dedicated to both patient care and administrative tasks weekly. The successful physician will manage a diverse caseload in an outpatient setting, addressing typical diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and trauma.

• Patient volume: 12-14 patients per day
• Staffing Mix:
  Behavioral health team consists of a board certified adult psychiatrist, one psychologist, two MSW & LIMHP therapists, and a PMHNP. The team also includes a front desk team, intake coordinator, 1 RN, 2 LPNs, and an office manager for provider support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new patient appointments, typically lasting 60-90 minutes
• Manage established patient appointments, typically lasting 30 minutes
• Address a range of typical diagnoses including anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and trauma

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
