CPS is seeking Special Education instructors for the spring 2026 school year, to engage students to meet their academic potential using high quality curriculum.

- Extra duty opportunities may be available.
- Teachers at CPS qualify for the Federal Student Loan Forgiveness Program.
- Base pay of $41,100
- Special Education bonus of up to $2500 and all years of experience may be granted if deemed a hard-to-fill position.
- Stipend for additional caseload for Special Education Teachers.
- $1000 monthly stipend for insurance or taken as cash
- 3 days of annual personal leave
- 10 days of annual sick leave
- Paid summer training and on-boarding

Description: Certified Teacher

Qualifications: Must have or be eligible for a Nebraska Teaching Certificate.
Working Conditions: 90% indoors, 10% outdoors. 75% standing, 15% sitting, 10% stoop, bend, or squat. Light lifting < 15 lbs.

Selection Procedure: Your application will remain on file for one calendar year and when an opening occurs meeting the criteria of your application your materials will be automatically transferred to that Job .
