. The role provides mechanical support to achieve production and quality goals while ensuring compliance with BD quality systems and safety regulations.

Responsibilities- Support department production by keeping machines in proper working order.
- Review production machine performance continually.
- Maintain equipment to reduce downtime by performing required PMs.
- Order replacement parts as needed.
- Identify and implement process improvements using the CIR process.
- Assist with Engineering projects when required.
- Work during plant shut‑down periods to perform PMs and support Engineering projects.
- Mentor new Mechanical Technicians.
- Other duties as required to support business needs.
- Standardize and configure assigned equipment according to specifications.
- Eliminate recurring equipment problems.
- Continuously improve equipment‑related waste and quality performance.
Required:
HSD/GED
Preferred:
Associate’s degree – Mechanical or related technical field
3–5 years of related experience.
Skills and KnowledgeBasic or Simple KSA
Electrical, Computer
Proficient/Working KSA
Mechanical/Technical systems, Equipment troubleshooting
Minimum of 4 days in‑office presence per week to maintain culture and operations.
Certain roles may have different arrangements. Remote or field‑based positions will be indicated in the posting.
