Overview
Highstreet Insurance & Financial Services, Great Plains is hiring a role focused on client service within an independent insurance agency. This position facilitates positive and effective relationships with clients and insurance carrier staff, supporting the agency and its clients with day-to-day questions, account maintenance, and service activities.
What you’ll do- Build relationships inside and outside the organization by providing general agency support and client-focused service.
- Be the first point of contact for clients, handling day-to-day questions and other support services.
- Assist in the production of new accounts and the retention of existing accounts; provide prompt, efficient, high-quality service to designated accounts in support of Producer activities.
- Gather information and risk management recommendations for renewals sixty days prior to renewal; deliver renewal and/or binders for designated accounts within five days of receipt.
- Conduct periodic service calls for designated accounts.
- Answer agency phone calls, order supplies, and perform general office administration.
- Maintain timeliness and thoroughness when interacting with customers, agency staff, and company personnel to minimize potential errors and omissions claims.
- Receive phone calls and office visitors requesting quotes.
- Actively seek increases in limits and/or coverages or round out accounts through sales to clients at every service contact.
- Make minor policy changes for personal lines coverage as requested by the Agent.
- Assist with the everyday flow in the agency including emails, downloads, expiration notices and special projects.
- Actively seek referrals from the current client base to solicit for new business prospects; follow up to generate new business using the prospect database and automation system.
- Accounting and bookkeeping, as instructed by management.
- Perform other functions as assigned by management.
You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be goal-oriented, detail-focused, flexible to daily/client needs, and team oriented.
Requirements- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Active Property & Casualty license or willingness to obtain (materials and fees paid by Highstreet)
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- High attention to detail
