Planned Maintenance (PM) Technician-C Shift
Job Group/Grade: JG2
Reporting to the Planned Maintenance (PM) Leader, this role will maintain equipment through performing regular planned maintenance tasks, maintain inventory levels of spare parts, and other maintenance activities as required according to the equipment maintenance plan. The technician will assist the manufacturing unit team with production maintenance issues and mentor technical staff in troubleshooting and repair techniques. Willingness to adjust work schedule as needed is required to maximize equipment availability.
The position ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures, and all applicable regulations. Regular, punctual attendance is essential.
- Support inventory organization and order spare parts for planned maintenance and equipment rebuild programs.
- Coordinate and perform PM activities according to schedule.
- Work with the Maintenance Planner to document maintenance tasks.
- Conduct regular equipment audits to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Perform maintenance during plant shutdown periods.
- Provide support to manufacturing technical teams to maintain optimal equipment performance.
- Complete other duties as required to support business needs.
This position does not supervise any associates.
Education- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Associate's degree in Mechanical or related field (preferred)
- Three years of mechanical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment.
