Plater Operator – 2nd Shift

Full responsibility for all barrel/rack finishing and plating operations and their respective cleaning, activating, finishing/plating, metal recovery baths and rinse solution baths, to prepare and process raw base materials per all Vishay Dale and Military specifications.

• Follow all corporate and department safety guidelines and rules.
• Cleans parts prior to plating.
• Follow all documented Vishay Dale Process Specifications (DPS’s) to clean, activate and finish/plate the raw base materials. Sets power suppliers/rectifiers, timers, ampere minute meters and any other equipment related to the process.
• Inspects and documents all process quality results on the In-Process Inspection Log.
• Assists in the maintenance of all activating, cleaning, finishing, plating, and rinsing bath/solution.
• Documents all required data on the In-Process Inspection Log, plating tickets, timecards, and other pertinent/required data logs.
• Strips and re-plates any plated parts that have been approved for rework by utilizing Division, planting process, Engineer, plating Manager/Supervisor and Division Manager.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three months to one year of experience.
