Overview

Paige Electric, a GCG Company, is currently seeking a Production Operator to join our Columbus, NE team. In this role, you will perform repetitive line assembly operations to produce final end products, roll bulk cable, coil and process cables, test products, perform quality control, and pack items for shipment.

Hours: 7:00AM to 3:30PM, Monday‑Friday

Pay Rate: $16+/hr (based on experience) + full benefits

Location: 1679 East 29th Ave, Columbus, NE 68601

What You’ll Do

• Read and decipher assembly instructions to coil, hank, or spool electrical wire & cable
• Use hand tools & machines to process ends of wire by cutting, stripping, and removing outside jacket on wire
• Solder wire or terminals and/or tin parts
• Assemble housings, covers, or connectors
• Verify specifications by measuring and keeping accurate count of parts
• Process, test, and package items for shipment
• Assist with additional duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Comfort reading measurements, prints, and/or specs and doing basic math
• Dexterity and hand‑eye coordination, reaching with hands, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components
• Ability to read and comprehend written & oral instructions and effectively present information
• Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
• Ability to distinguish between colors
