Laserweld Operator - C Shift at BD (Tissuemed Ltd)
Job DescriptionProduce quality tubing for the Cannula department by operating equipment such as welding, blocks, sinks, auto‑cut (MJR and IECO), and other tasks as assigned. Ensure compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, as well as all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations. Regular, punctual attendance is essential. Ability to read, write and converse in English and/or Spanish.

- Responsible for meeting established production standards.
- Responsible for meeting the quality requirements of the product and operating within the policies and procedures of the Quality System.
- Use microscopes, pin gauges and other inspection devices as necessary.
- Perform basic maintenance as required to keep machines in good operational order.
- Use basic hand tools (allen wrenches, files, side cutters, crescent wrenches, etc.).
- Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.

- High School diploma/GED preferred.
- In lieu of high school diploma/GED, three years manufacturing experience is required.
- Mechanical aptitude required.
- Previous mechanical experience preferred.
