Mechanical Technician C-Shift

The general function of this job is to set up, changeover, improve and maintain production equipment to meet quality and quantity standards. The role involves training operators, providing on‑floor leadership, and ensuring compliance with BD quality systems, policies and safety regulations.

• Responsible for changeovers and proper equipment set‑up.
• Maintain equipment in a good state of repair to meet production and quality standards.
• Generate accurate maintenance records.
• Ensure machine cleanliness and preventive maintenance.
• Provide coverage for absent operators.
• Assist operators during break times and lead continuous improvement activities.
• Operate safely, handle chemicals properly and ensure safety of coworkers.
• Provide coverage for other duties as requested by management.
• Follow GMP rules in a clean‑room environment.

• High School diploma or GED (required).
• Associate’s degree in a mechanical‑related field (preferred).

• Mechanical skills, education or background (required).

• Mechanical proficiency.
