BD Nogales Norte – Columbus (West), USA – Entry level, Full-time, Primary Manufacturing and Management functions.
About the RoleProduce quality tubing for the Cannula department by operating equipment. Rotational tasks include welding, blocks, sinks, auto‑cut (MJR and IECO), and other assignments as needed. Maintain compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures, and all applicable safety regulations. Regular, punctual attendance is essential.
Responsibilities- Meet established production standards and product quality requirements.
- Operate within the policies and procedures of the BD Quality System.
- Use microscopes, pin gages and other inspection devices as necessary.
- Perform basic maintenance to keep machines in good operational order.
- Utilize basic hand tools (allen wrenches, files, side cutters, crescent wrenches, etc.).
- Support the needs of the business with other duties as required.
- High School diploma or GED preferred; three years of manufacturing experience required in lieu of GED.
- Mechanical aptitude required; previous mechanical experience preferred.
- Safety conscious and work safely, especially when handling tubing and cut cannula.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
- Proficient mechanical skills.
- English and/or Spanish read/write and oral communication.
- Willingness to uphold BD values.
C Shift; minimum 4 days on-site per week. Remote or field-based arrangements may apply per location.
