Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for changeovers and setting up equipment properly.
  • Maintain equipment in a good state of repair to meet production and quality standards.
  • Generate accurate maintenance and other required records.
  • Ensure machine cleanliness and preventive maintenance.
  • Cover for absent operators.
  • Assist operators during their break times.
  • Lead and actively participate in teams for scheduling, process improvement, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Work safely, handle chemicals properly, and ensure the safety of coworkers.
  • Comply with other requests made by management.
  • May work in a clean room environment following all GMP rules.
  • Other duties to support business needs.
Education
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Associate’s degree in a mechanical related field preferred.
Experience
  • Mechanical skills/education/background required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Mechanical ability – Proficient.
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving – Proficient.
  • Hand tool and gauge knowledge – Proficient.
  • Independent thinking – Proficient.
  • Teamwork – Proficient.
  • Leadership skills – Proficient.
Additional Qualifications
  • May require respirators to be worn and mandatory passing of annual fit testing.
  • May require annual HAZWOPER training and/or membership in a Chemical Emergency Response Team.
