Paige Electric, a GCG Company, is currently seeking a Production Operator & Cable Processor to join our Columbus, NE team. If you want to grow your career in manufacturing with a tight knit team in a climate controlled warehouse, this may be the right fit! In this role you’ll perform repetitive line assembly operations to produce final end products, roll heavy bulk cable, coil and process cables, test products and perform quality control, and palletize items for shipment.

Hours: 7:00AM to 3:30PM, Mon‑Fri
Pay Rate: $20+/hr (based on experience) + full benefits
Location: 1679 East 29th Ave, Columbus, NE 68601

• Read and decipher assembly instructions to coil large cable to multiple lengths
• Use hand tools & machines to cut, strip, remove outside jacket, or terminate electrical wire & cable
• Assemble housings, covers, or connectors
• Verify specifications by measuring and keeping accurate count of parts
• Process, test, and package items for shipment
• Operate forklift to relocate and palletize orders
• Assist with additional duties as assigned

• Experience in manufacturing or assembly role a plus
• Comfort reading measurements, prints, and/or specs and doing basic math
• Dexterity and hand‑eye coordination, reaching with hands, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components
• Ability to read and comprehend written & oral instructions and effectively present information
• Ability to distinguish between colors
• Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
• Reliable transportation to and from work required
