CNC Laser / Press Brake Operator Weekend Shift

Columbus, NE Pay: $20 $ 25/hour, depending on experience

Schedule:

Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 6:00 AM 6:00 PM WORK 3 DAYS. GET PAID FOR 5.

Want a skilled manufacturing job that gives you four days off every week? This dedicated weekend position lets you work just three 12-hour shifts and get paid for a full 40-hour week. This is a Friday, Saturday and Sunday ONLY position. There is no weekday schedule available. If you're an experienced CNC Laser or Press Brake Operator who wants a consistent weekend schedule, competitive pay and four consecutive days off, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

• Set up and operate CNC fiber laser and/or CNC press brake equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, bend charts and work orders
• Select the appropriate tooling and machine parameters for each job
• Inspect first-piece and in-process parts to ensure they meet quality standards
• Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, tape measures and angle gauges
• Troubleshoot routine equipment or production issues and make necessary adjustments
• Operate support equipment, including cold saws
• Perform routine machine maintenance
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area

This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone with the experience and skills to step into production and work with minimal direction after training.

• Previous CNC laser and/or CNC press brake operating experience
• Machine setup experience
• Ability to read and understand fabrication blueprints
• Strong measuring and inspection skills
• Ability to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday every week
• Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to the weekend schedule
• Experience operating both CNC laser and press brake equipment is preferred, but candidates with strong experience in either area are encouraged to apply.
