Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) – Columbus, NE 68601

Hallmark Cards is seeking a part‑time Field Merchandiser in Columbus, NE. The position focuses on showcasing our products and strengthening retailer relationships.

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and act as the face of Hallmark. You collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed. Occasionally you will work with non‑Hallmark products in our stores.

• Your starting pay will be $15.25 to $15.75 depending on experience.
• Part‑time position with a variable schedule.
• Average weekly hours: 5–14 per week.
• Availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

• Day‑to‑day engagement:
  Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark inventory using a mobile device provided by Hallmark. Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Interact professionally with store staff, management, and customers.
• Holiday support:
  During peak seasons such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, expect extra days and extended hours. You may be required to work on the actual holiday and on weekends.
• Department resets:
  Participate in installations, fixture build‑out, and relocation of card departments. You will be notified at least two weeks in advance for remodel assignments, which may occur evenings or weekends.
• Team collaboration:
  Support other merchandiser team members as needed and share best practices across the network.

The job is physically demanding. You must consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, and up to 50 pounds on occasion. The role requires kneeling, squatting, walking, standing, climbing stairs, and using step ladders.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Can read, write, and understand English.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Capable of operating a digital handheld device to read and interpret documents.
• Has reliable Wi‑Fi access and internet connectivity.
• Has reliable transportation to travel to assigned stores as scheduled.
