Position Summary
The Linen Attendant is responsible for receiving, sorting, distributing, stocking, and maintaining linen inventory to ensure clean, quality linens are available to meet customer and operational needs. This position requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while following safety and quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Receive, count, sort, and organize clean and soiled linens.
Inspect linens for stains, tears, damage, or quality concerns.
Fold, stack, package, and prepare linens for delivery or distribution.
Stock linen carts, shelves, and designated storage areas.
Track linen inventory and report shortages or discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of linen counts and distribution.
Assist with loading and unloading carts, trucks, or production equipment.
Follow infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures as applicable.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Communicate inventory needs and operational issues to supervisors.
Assist other production areas as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Must be able to speak and read English.
Previous laundry, production, warehouse, hospitality, or healthcare experience preferred but not required.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
.
Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
Ability to work in a production environment with varying temperatures, noise, and humidity levels.

Working Conditions

Fast-paced laundry or production facility.
Regular exposure to laundry equipment, carts, and linen products.
Must follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
