Accounting Manager

Korn Ferry has partnered with a rapidly growing private equity‑backed organization seeking an Accounting Manager to join its expanding finance and accounting leadership team. The newly created Accounting Manager role reports directly to the Controller and will play a critical role in strengthening the accounting function during an exciting period of growth, transformation, and operational enhancement. The current environment offers a “blank canvas” for a proactive leader who enjoys building processes rather than simply maintaining an established structure.

The position offers significant visibility to executive leadership and the opportunity to influence processes, develop team members, and help build a scalable accounting organization.

• Target Base Salary: $125K to $140K

• Ownership of financials across a multi‑entity organization. Lead continued centralization of accounting duties from those historically managed by operating companies.
• Oversee consolidations, financial reporting, technical accounting matters, and lease accounting activities (ASC 842)
• Drive process improvements, establish process checklists, develop review procedures, and improve overall controllership disciplines
• Partner closely with the Controller, CFO, and FP&A leadership team
• Support acquisition integrations, chart of accounts mapping, ERP onboarding, and reporting alignment
• Lead continuous ERP improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for automation and efficiencies
• Serve as a key liaison with external auditors and support annual audit activities
• Assist in building a proactive accounting culture focused on problem solving, process discipline, and continuous improvement

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• 7+ years of progressive Accounting experience
• Open to candidates directly from Public Accounting
• CPA – strongly preferred
• Multi‑Entity/Location or Complex accounting environment experience
