Accounting Specialist
Gain hands-on experience across billing, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial close processes. Work directly with finance leadership and increase your exposure to month-end accounting activities. Develop analytical and problem-solving skills by researching billing discrepancies and payment issues. Target Compensation: $20-$26/hour
Create invoices, apply payments, and manage day-to-day billing activities. Support month-end close processes, account reconciliations, and journal entry activity. Monitor accounts receivable aging and assist with collection and follow-up efforts. Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment variances, and customer account issues. Maintain accurate financial records, supporting schedules, and reporting documentation.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience in billing, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or accounting operations. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel;
Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP experience are a plus. Experience working within an ERP or accounting system preferred.
