Utilities Right of Way Title Agent - Columbus, OH
Base pay range: $30.00/hr - $40.00/hr
Location: Columbus, OH (candidate must reside within 60 miles of the Columbus, OH office).
Schedule: Full-time, Non-exempt.
Travel: Candidate can expect to travel locally and throughout Ohio over 50% of the time; may extend to other states.

- Conduct real estate title searches using online databases and in‑person visits to county courthouses
- Retrieve and review documents such as deeds, mortgages, contracts, easements, tax cards, and plats
- Compile accurate findings into client‑provided Title Reports, ensuring completeness and reliability of title information
- Verify and document all relevant instruments required to complete thorough and compliant title searches
- Works efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines
- Can prioritize and balance multiple tasks
- Demonstrates strong organization and planning skills
- Is analytical, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Thrives in a fast‑paced administrative setting
- Provides strong customer service experience
- Can adapt to new systems and software environments
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience pulling title and title history
- Experience analyzing titles and title reports
- Ability to verify property ownerships, mortgages, liens, and/or judgments against properties and determine restrictions such as delinquent taxes affecting titles and property use
- Capability to identify key information about parcels and communicate it effectively to property owners
- Proficient reading deeds, legal descriptions, plats, easements, searching parcel data, and producing a chain of title
- Strong understanding of real estate terminology
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel and Word) and Dropbox or equivalent
- Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to access ORC’s systems
- Valid Driver’s License
Right of Way industry experience.
