The Ohio Department of Taxation is seeking 1 Intermittent Administrative Professional 2 in the Legal Division.
Responsibilities- Assist with phone coverage for the Legal division
- Pull documents from storage
- Scan documents
- Respond to correspondence on existing appeals
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
This is an intermittent position - the hours of work will not follow a set schedule and may involve working on weekends. Intermittent appointments are limited to 1000 hours per fiscal year and are not eligible for health benefits or paid leave. The wage will remain at step 1 in the pay scale.

Qualifications- 18 months exp. or 18 months trg. in secretarial/administrative professional field.
- -Or completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from accredited career school or community college.

The final candidate selected for the position will be required to undergo a criminal background check. Section 2961 of the Ohio Revised Code prohibits individuals convicted of a felony including but not limited to fraud, deceit, or theft from holding a position that has substantial management or control over the property of a state agency.
