Monday–Friday between 7:00 AM and 4:30 PM (closed weekends)
Shift: First Shift
Pay: $13.00/hr starting; potential to increase to $14.00/hr within first 90 days
Responsibilities- Just-In-Time inventory management.
- Learn how inventory is tracked, par levels, order quantities, etc.
- Clean and audit janitorial closets, lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Determine when to order, how items are committed to orders, and how they are charged once delivered.
- Manage warehouse organization and layout, including change management for receiving, picking, and delivering materials.
- Understand inventory management systems and their role throughout processes.
- Learn how to update cell phones.
- Determine order quantities based on on-hand inventory, past patterns, and future demand.
- Perform basic functions (ordering, picking, delivering, and cycle counts) as daily work.
Must be enrolled in a university that is not OSU.
Position is for students not currently enrolled at The Ohio State University.
First Shift position. Minimum 15 hours per week; scheduled hours 20.
RequirementsNone specified beyond enrollment requirement, but experience with inventory systems and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs are preferred.
