Job Description

The work location of this position is 25 South Front Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215. You will be required to report to this work location full-time, if selected.

The Office of Literacy Achievement seeks a Program Administrator 2 to support office leaders in implementing literacy policy, implementation, and research objectives. This position would includes the following responsibilities and skills:

  • Correspond with district and school leaders by email and phone
  • Organize large batches of files and documents
  • Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Co‑Pilot, PowerPoint, Teams, and Power Automate
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Formatting and proofreading documents
  • Scheduling, facilitating and taking notes at meetings
  • Maintain Department webpages
  • Make public facing documents accessible according to ADA guidelines
  • Process improvement
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • 4 yrs. training or 4 yrs. experience in business administration, management science or public administration.
  • Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration; 2 yrs. training or 2 yrs. experience in supervisory, administrative & or managerial position.
  • Or completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; 2 yrs. training or 2 yrs. experience in supervisory, administrative & or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research & or policy/procedure development.
  • Or 1 yr. experience as Program Administrator 1, 63122.
  • Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment…
