Account Clerk

InGenesis is currently seeking an Account Clerk 3 to work with our client. In this role, you will play a key role in reviewing, researching, and processing claims to ensure compliance with Ohio's Unclaimed Funds laws and regulations.

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, no holidays or weekends.

• Examine, review, verify, and process claims for unclaimed funds.
• Gather and evaluate background information to determine claim validity.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Unclaimed Funds laws and procedures.
• Communicate with claimants and reporting agents regarding claim status and requirements.
• Analyze reports, forms, and supporting documentation submitted with claims.
• Conduct in-depth research and process complex claims requiring detailed review.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming claimant inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the claims process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of undergraduate core coursework in Accounting
• Two (2) years of recent accounting experience
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with particular expertise in Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
